Holy Week @ Christ Church Mission
Holy Week provides a unique opportunity for us to walk with Jesus toward the cross. Take a look below for more details about each of the services.
April 13 – Palm Sunday
9:00 & 10:30am
Palm Sunday is a service marked by great drama and by jarring thematic swings. The service begins with the waving of palm branches and the singing of praise but then turns to the scandal of the cross and the tragedy of Jesus’ death.
The service is participatory and will include scripture readings and beautiful music.
April 17 – Maundy Thursday
7:00pm
Maundy, from the Latin word meaning “command,” is a celebration of the Last Supper at which Jesus gave the command to love one another, washed the feet of his disciples, and gave us the practice of communion.
Childcare is available for kids 5 years old and younger.
April 18 – Good Friday
7:00pm
Good Friday is a day focused on the cross and Jesus’ powerful act of forgiveness.
Childcare is available for kids 5 years old and younger.
April 20 – Easter Sunday
9am & 10:30am
Jesus’ resurrection is the defining moment in all of history, and makes Easter the ultimate celebration!
Please join us at either 9:00am or 10:30am inside the Mission Theatre.
Children’s ministry is available for kindergarten and younger; elementary students and older are encouraged to worship with their families.
Professional photographers will be available for FREE after each of the services.
