The garden and grounds of our Overland Park location are meticulously cared for by an amazing team of volunteers and highlight a depth of intentionality in their design.
Throughout the property you’ll find spacious patios, a playground for neighborhood children, and beautiful flowers and landscaping. Large rocks engraved with prayer prompts are placed near benches around the building inviting visitors to linger.
The columbarium, woven throughout the landscape of the front garden, is the final resting place for many Christ Church members who have passed on. Here, we are simultaneously reminded of our mortality and the hope of the resurrection.
Unlike a cemetery, there are no headstones or markers. Names of people buried here are listed on bronze plaques on the south wall of the building.
