We are happy to announce Freedom Fire, in Kansas City, MO, as a Christ Church outreach partner.

Freedom Fire is a Christian organization dedicated to the advancement of God’s Kingdom in KC’s urban core. They aim to build purposeful friendships with young people by:

• Modeling God’s love through individual interactions, and
• Equipping youth with skills and knowledge that will enable them to make a positive impact in the community.

As a first step toward inviting folks from Christ Church to get involved in their work, we will be participating in a “Learn Day” onsite with them on Saturday, April 5 from 10a – 2:30p. We will see their ministry sites first-hand, enjoy lunch together, and learn about how we can engage in service with them.
