The MomCo (short for Mom Community) at Christ Church is a group for mothers to come together to enjoy friendship, encouragement, and support. Our group usually meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month (September through May) from 9:15 – 11:15am; we try to work around the Shawnee Mission, Blue Valley, and Olathe school district calendars as needed.
Each Monday we catch up over tasty light-bites, listen to an engaging speaker on a variety of topics from faith to parenting, and discuss life during small group time. While the moms enjoy one another’s company, our children have a ball being cared for by a wonderful group of volunteers.
We also host multiple fun events throughout the year, including an always popular Buy Nothing Clothing Swap, Cozy Nights-In, volunteer opportunities, and more!
The MomCo at Christ Church has an annual membership cost of $137. This amount covers each participant’s The MomCo by MOPS International membership fee ($37) and the remainder covers some of our costs (activities and supplies, speakers, etc). Scholarships are available as needed.
If Mondays don’t fit in your schedule, we’d would love to have you join us for our social events with a Social Membership. For $40 (that covers The MomCo by MOPS International membership fee of $37 plus a $3 administration fee) you’ll be included in all of our social events, join our private Facebook group, and receive an annual subscription to The MomCo Journal.
