Katherine Duderstadt | Director of Ministry in Mission
I grew up in Lawrence, KS and moved to Kansas City in 2018 – after trying to do everything but live in Kansas.
After graduating from Baylor University in 2015, I moved to Pittsburgh, PA to work with Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. My time in Pittsburgh was formative in so many ways – I grew in my love for Jesus and spending time with people, and I got really good at parallel parking.
I made a brief stop in Texas before moving to Kansas City to work in the non-profit sector. I love my life here.
I started attending Christ Church Mission in the Spring of 2021 and immediately felt a deep sense of peace. I cherish our church’s hospitality, community, and culture.
In early 2022, I got the opportunity to join the team at Christ Church Mission as Ministry Director. My job includes a multitude of responsibilities: managing Sunday morning volunteers, cultivating relationships within our congregation, outreach, and so much more!
Outside of work I enjoy playing tennis, going on walks, riding bikes, traveling, writing, trying new foods, and practicing parallel parking. I’m convinced that no one in Kansas City has better friends than me, and I am beyond grateful for each one of them.
I live in Mission with my husband, Chris, and dog, Honey. My Bachelor’s Degree is in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and I have a Master’s in Integrated Marketing and Communications.
