Jason Veach | Pastor of Spiritual Formation
I live in Overland Park with my wife Regan and our two children. Nothing beats adventuring with them – whether it is a trip across the world or an outing to a local café.
We love being part of Christ Church!
My spiritual roots lie in the Church of the Nazarene where I served for several years as a pastor in the Kansas City area, missionary-educator in Europe, and church planter in the Pacific Northwest. However, I have been drawn to all things “Anglican” since my teenage years – developing a deep appreciation for the rooted and relevant nature of Anglican worship and spirituality.
I was ordained a priest in April 2019.
I am a 2005 graduate of the Master of Divinity program at Nazarene Theological Seminary (NTS); in 2021 I received a Doctor of Ministry degree from NTS in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship. The focus of my research was on the vital connection between the church’s practices of worship on Sunday and its mission in the world on Monday.
I have particular passions in the areas of worship, liturgy and the arts, preaching and teaching, the intersection of Gospel and culture, and exploring the formational practices that shape us to live a life of mission in the way of Jesus.
My greatest joy is to see people come alive as they encounter the good news of Christ and grow in their faith.
